Three local indie authors are launching their new novels at the American Fork Library’s Community Room on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. (The odd stop and start times are because the room rents by the hour, and there has to be time for setup and takedown.)

The American Fork Library is just off Main Street at 64 South 100 East in downtown American Fork, adjacent to Robinson Park. The east entrance (from the street) leads directly to the Community Room.

Come chat with authors, enjoy some food, and, if you’re into it, leave with some books (at prices substantially lower than you’ll find them at Amazon and elsewhere). There will be some freebies too. Cash, Venmo, Paypal, and credit and debit cards will be accepted (but not, ahem, for the freebies).

Gigi Lynn, Lord Harcourt’s Heist

Gigi Lynn writes sweet historical romance. Her new novel, Lord Harcourt’s Heist, is the fourth in her Rebel Hearts series. Learn more about her and her books at gigi-lynn.com.

This swoony Regency romance is a heist novel too. Lady Delia’s brother loses a fortune on the turn of a card. To save the family and herself, she must find a wealthy, titled man to marry before the end of the season. Meanwhiel, Lord Harcourt, the old-fashioned poet with an unfortunate nose, offers Lady Delia an alternative. He has a plan to bring their common enemy down.

TJ Tarbet, To Name the Dark

TJ Tarbet has published short stories in several genres. His first novel, To Name the Dark is cosmic horror thriller. In it a burned-out detective is called to a massacre at an abandoned warehouse which defies every law he knows. People are dead, their souls torn from their bodies and trapped . . . Sorry, no spoilers. The story is told through the eyes of the detective and a teenage girl who started the apocalypse.

David Rodeback, Hearts Together

David Rodeback (learn more, ahem, at this very site) is the author of two award-winning collections of short fiction. His new novel, Hearts Together, is a contemporary, realistic coming-of-age story. A thick book for readers who enjoy this books, it tells the story of eight months in the lives of two LDS high school students living in Utah. There’s some romance going on—it wouldn’t be much fun if there weren’t—but there’s also the problem of trying to find their places at school and in a religious community with conflicting ideas of what is good.
